A Message from John Atkinson

Since 1988, I've spent my days educating people on how to be smart with their insurance dollar. As a past Sales Manager for two major insurance companies and an independent broker, I have often seen and still see people paying exorbitant amounts for coverage.

As a result, I have always encouraged my clients to buy the most coverage for the least cost. Don't give the insurance companies all your money, month after month. Remember why you are buying insurance in the first place: to protect your assets.

Often I'm asked about which companies I like best. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of any of them. But there are a few that are definitely easier to work with and really take care of business. I personally carry a "AIG" health plan and a "West Coast Life" term life insurance policy.

I want my clients to get the best buys. Therefore, I continually research and compare all the plans and companies. I look primarily at rates, benefits, and payment of claims. In this way, I can recommend 3 or 4 good affordable plans that will protect you and your family.

There is an urgency to buying health insurance. Why? Because the only time you can buy health insurance is when you are healthy. Too often people wait until it is too late. Don't make the same mistake. You cannot afford to take a chance and try to time something so important.
